Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community is a church related not-for-profit agency designed to provide a range of services for seniors of all religious faiths and has been in business since 1923.   The retirement community is located in rural Chenoa, IL on 50 acres in a quiet rural setting.  Meadows is a continuing care community offering:  skilled, intermediate, shelter nursing home care, and independent living on the Meadows campus and assisted living in Northeast Normal, IL.  Attention is given to spiritual and emotional needs of residents by the Chaplain, staff and volunteers.  Medical and emergency care are provided by a Medical Director who makes routine visits, is available for emergencies and provides phone consultation as needed.  Our staff demonstrates caring by relating knowledgeably and competently to residents and their families.  Our Nationally recognized Alzheimer’s Care program reflects an environmental response to the range of needs of the dementia population.  Dementia care requires specific physical environment, training of staff and a special kind of staff that "totally gets it" and can work with residents where they are in their disease process.  Meadows is known for this specialized care and for in-patient and out-patient Medicare rehabilitation. 

Meadows at Mercy Creek, located at 1501 Mercy Creek Drive, Normal, IL, provides a unique and enriching lifestyle for Assisted Living Residents.  The two-story building features a large, welcoming lobby, library and computer lounge, theater room, beauty and barber shop, health spa and activity rooms.  Sixty spacious one and two bedroom apartment homes surround a beautifully landscaped center courtyard with a water feature.  Apartments feature recessed entries, bay windows, walk-in closets, kitchenettes, baths with walk-in showers, and an emergency response system.  

Residents enjoy exceptional dining experiences in the restaurant-style dining room, private family dining room and bistro deli.  Services provided are three delicious chef-prepared meals per day, twenty-four  hour personal services, housekeeping and linen services, transportation and more.  A full schedule of social, spiritual, educational and wellness focused activities allows residents to be actively involved in life at Meadows at Mercy Creek, a decidedly Christian retirement community.  A full range of health and personal care services is available to meet the needs of individual residents.  Compassionate care and assistance is provided by a team of experienced, licensed nurses and caregivers, with twenty-four hour staffing.
